I watched this again after remembering it from about 20 years back. It is a classic film which is inspiring and great for the whole family.

Wonderful Experience
Neil Diamond is one of my all time favorite singers. I think it was a great gift for him to put himself out there to do this movie. However, this movie is enjoyable in its own right. It has a sweet but fairly realistic love story. It portrays a young man struggling to define himself between the expectations of his culture and who he yearns and feels driven to be. Then there is the soundtrack! Mr Diamond has some of his best work presented here. I don't remember how many of them made the top of the charts, but several did. I also gave up counting how many times I saw this movie while it was still in the theaters. It's a great pleasure to add it to my personal library.

Neil Diamond
I love Neil Diamond. I love his singing and his acting. Will watch this over and over again!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you are a Neil Diamond fan you will love the Jazz Singer.
